Cedar Park Hospital sends their patients to small claims Court for $2,600 medical bill and seeks judgment for patient credit report! A doctors visit and scan for kidney stone....WHAT A JOKE! Not to mention in court they added attorney fees to bring the final bill to $3,200. Be prepared to have the billing department not work with you on a payment plan and subpoena you for a court hearing on any amount. Well after much fight with the hospital and attorneys calls we ended up in court and attorney/judge intimidation. The doctors knew we were self pay for our kid and they took advantage of this and did very unnessacary testing to only say go home and rest. This hospital was the closet for our kid to go too. Next time will drive to another hospital. Patient care is not at the top of their list, but profit and unfair pricing is! If you are self pay go to another hopital that will work with you and even offer hardship options. We weren't looking for a free service but an option to work with us yes even after we put down a $150 deposit to even be seen.
