After a very, very adventurous journey, which in my opinion is impossible without four-wheel drive, we reached the Tyax Lodge after about six hours (from Clearwater). The lodge is in the middle of nowhere and the sight of this imposing log cabin promises absolute relaxation. The view of the lake is breathtaking. Absolutely a room with lake view book. Everything is super clean, the facilities good, the service incredibly friendly and the food - no matter if 'breakfast' or 'dinner' - absolutely recommendable.
