Mine was a drop and hook but still aggravating. Sign says driver check in at drivers entrance. Seen the employee entrance near the office section so i rolled down through looking for a stairway leading to a door saying drivers entrance. None. Got to end and pulled up to a yard dog to ask where the drivers was and he gave me a pissy look and told me with attitude it was back up front with the other entrances. And it was. And there was white letters on the glass door saying drivers entrance high up. Okay so maybe I'm used to looking for signs on metal doors typically half way down a warehouse but no need for his bad attitude.
So on to the office where im treated as a child and the employee finger points to all these different log in sheets needing to be filled out that honestly should be their job all except one. Go door drop your empty and grab the loaded. Get the seal and take it inside to get bills. Now i stand there at the window for 15 minutes with 3 office people just talking and laughing and the first guy nowhere to be found. Finally one of them decided to notice my existence and huffs and puffs as if its the end of the world he actually has to work. I asked about the address being different on the bills than what i have on my load and got another pissy answer by way of him repeating the question if that's where I'm going. These a-holes need a reality check across the face. Not my fault you actually have to work and not my fault i interrupted your social time on the clock so i could actually do my job. If you don't like dealing with drivers ... don't work at a warehouse! Side note... loads will never be under 40k no matter what your told. I was told 19 and i knew better. I've pulled titanium dioxide before.. it's always heavy.
