I m giving this rating because of the backstabbing...
I m giving this rating because of the backstabbing I felt during my time here. I really loved my job and I know I excelled at it. I was one of the top leasing agents here and because they decided to try and blame me for something that was out of my hands they fired me. They decided to keep people who were either related to someone in the business or were there for years and years and could do no wrong. I took directive from management and was told certain things and yet they blamed me? It s unfortunate and really unfair. I tried to fight for my job but since I was there only 2 years and not 5 or 10yrs and again not related to or great friends with corporate they LET ME GO. I know deep down they know they did me wrong. But I believe in God and I believe one day God will prevail in all of this. Oh and they fired me too while pregnant. 2 days before my birthday too. So sad but I know they lost someone great and yes I did learn a lot and I m glad I was a outstanding agent and I know my residents were very happy with how I was with all of them. My career will go on somewhere where I m appreciated
I don t know how to reply to what you just sent me but let me just add. I was instructed at that time as a leasing agent my job was to lease. The reason I was let go was because of the storage situation which I was told goes straight to the assistant manager at the time. She was strictly handling that situation. My name was NEVER on that storage. I never rented out the storage. The person who leased out that storage should of gone through proper measures to make sure that storage was available and not occupied....which is when they should of gone to the assistant manger to be sure that storage was available. I recall I have NEVER issued out storages and I followed policies when it came to ensure my resident never got an occupied storage. I did not mess up policy. I was not a manager at that time and I have never once told someone to throw out items that were left in a unit. Never. And again I was instructed by your management team what my role was and what was to be done at that time. The people that were supposed to get fired were around for years and were even family with others that worked there. So in this situation I know I was not in the wrong and the people who did break policy didn t get let go because they were here for 10 years or family. That s not right. Again if you take a look at WHO was responsible for this certain policy it was not me but your management team. My firing was not valid and I know it wasn t. That s why I fought and nobody cared at that time. And making it public is something I have a right to do. This is a review after all and that is public. Thank you.
