The outside appearance of the service is very good...

The outside appearance of the service is very good, although their location is quite some ways from the downtown. In addition, the general manager is a good communicator, which is a particularly useful skill given their business practices.

Nevertheless, the level of service is beyond appalling. I delivered a pricey Samsung ultra-book for a repair, but was told that no less than three components were dysfunctional.

Needless to say, I was very surprised because it would be an exceedingly rare occurrence than more than one electronic component would stop working at the same time. In addition, right before delivering the laptop for repairs at MR Servis, a diagnostic test was done at another service provider that stated that only the motherboard was faulty.

I contacted the head of the service, and it just turned out that he was the one actually working on the laptop. I mentioned that I was using the laptop at the time it stopped working, implying that it would be impossible that the motherboard, the display and the component with USB and the on/off switch would all stop working at the same time. I also pointed out that the other service provided a very different diagnostic result immediately before.

However, the servicer immediately got very testy and aggressive. He stated that he will not run another diagnostic, because the laptop was allegedly already damaged when it was delivered. He also asked to dispose the laptop in an environmentally acceptable manner instead of returning it, because it was "not worth repairing" in spite of the offer for repairs he just sent.

Furthermore, when I received the laptop back, it was visible that the display was removed while the laptop was at MR Servis, which was unnecessary for performing the diagnostics work.

I contacted their director, and after an email exchange he agreed to run another diagnostic. He refused to consider any evidence and was unwilling to contact the other service provider. After another email exchange, he finally offered a 5% discount for the repairs and claimed that he was doing me a favor for not changing for the diagnostic work.

In short, if you would like your laptop stripped for parts and disposed in an environmentally acceptable manner", MR Service is just the place for you.
