Trying to find out if repairs will be done today o...

Trying to find out if repairs will be done today or if it's going to be three days not the two that have already passed, which is what I was told it would take.
" I'll call you back as soon as I know what's going on"
3hrs later no call. @ 3:45pm I called back " I talked to the tech and he doesn't have an assessment yet, can I call you back this afternoon?" the tech works till 5, so I'm thinking how does he not know if he'll be done today? Also trying to reach upper management to help with this was another wasted call.
