Beautiful landscaping and buildings. This place is definitely special. The beach access and pool is nice with a small bar and grill area to hang during the day. There was a wedding happening just beyond the beach on the big grassy area and it is a superb spot to have a wedding. We had snacks at the Sunset Bar and grill up the hill. The food was decent but the service was very slow. There was only one waitress for about 12 tables. It got busier a little later and there was live music. It got very packed and people were dancing away the evening. We had a late dinner in the Italian restaurant inside and once again the food was decent but nothing mind blowing. The rooms are clean and adequately spaced. There is a spa and an indoor pool. Heading down for breakfast now. I would definitely come back if I were looking to vacation in this part of Connecticut again.
