Yesterday morning I wanted to start my car, but only the dashboard lights went on, and the engine did nothing. I then followed all the emergency procedures listed in the book, but nothing helped. In desperation, I called Autobedrijf Bot, and someone said it was probably the battery. "Just turn on your lights, and try to get started, you can really see what's going on." With the phone in hand done exactly as requested, and still with the phone in hand, the engine started.
You just have to call Autobedrijf Bot and the engine will start! It was like telepathy.
Anyway, I could immediately go for a battery measurement, and the unsurpassed Koos found that the battery was bad, but maybe a night on the charger could help. That would be by far the cheapest solution, so it was a great proposition.
Since it was already cold last night, and there is much more Siberian weather coming up, we decided to put in a new battery. It was ordered in the morning, and it was delivered in the afternoon.
And installing a new battery is of course a piece of cake for the staff of Autobedrijf Bot!
At the end of the day, a satisfied customer left the workshop.
