My husband and I travel for months at a time so we eat out every single day of our lives . Spending a lot of money in doing so . Today was no exception as we stopped in at the Cracker Barrel in Lebanon to enjoy a nice afternoon meal . The waitress was sweet when she did come around and the lady working in the store side was terrific . Extremely friendly . The food was below average and we were very disappointed as we eat at Cracker Barrel often and this is definitely won of the worst ones. I can recall one other time that the food was bad at a Cracker Barrel and that was ONLY once and a LONG time ago. We both had the hamburger steaks and it was cooked way too long and hard and almost burned . The gravy had an unusually strong onion taste to the point of making it practically inedible . Very bad taste. The macaroni was obviously old or from the bottom of the pan and extremely hard and dried out . It was very disappointing as we spend a lot of money at Cracker Barrel each month . :( Maybe it was just a bad day but sure was unfortunate for us . We left a big chunk of hard earned money there and were still hungry when we left and have now since eaten somewhere else . Very disappointed.
