I worked at here for 25.5 years, having worked under President Jerry Flora who had an outstanding administrations often referred to the "six pack." Dr. Flora remained in Whatcom County until he was injured in an automobile accident 2 or 3 years ago. Such a great man. All of us who worked closely with him considered ourselves blessed to have had him in our lives. He was always interested in his staff and what was going on in their lives. We all knew that he cared. Bosses like him do not come along often.
