Hi there... Just wanted to leave an honest review. We were waiting for this place to get opened to go and try something new... of course like everybody else.
> The place itself is nice: modern, cozy, stylish...
> The service could be better. The waiter was serving good enough, but she didn t smile not even once, like if we were bothering her.
> The food... :( we got disappointed right away! The ribeye steak $39 was burned, see the picture below. The texture was nice, but was burned and had bitter taste afterwards. The vegetables did not even drag attention to try them... potato gratin was not cooked enough!
Thank to the manager he came to ask how was the food and I shared with him our dissatisfaction. He tried to make it up and gave us a big discount on our check and for the next visit! Thank him for that, it was nice of him, but that s not the point. The food did not meet our expectations! We wish Maynard s to get better as we understand the place is new and was busy on Sunday. Maybe we will try it again one day... the pictures on the website look amazing, but the taste was not as expected.
