I wanted so badly to give this resort a 5 star rat...

I wanted so badly to give this resort a 5 star rating. I understand that COVID-19 has places scrambling and making changes, but unfortunately the changes that have been made here have significantly altered the experience we had. We spent a lot to stay for three nights, and it s been mostly disappointing. We spent additional money to upgrade our room to the adult pool, however the beverage and food service was not available (shame on me for not seeing this when I booked it). Probably not worth the extra $150 expense for the view and experience we got. The bar and nice restaurant on the property are also closed, as is in-room dining!

We had a whole other debacle with moldy food and also being served the display food from the cafe that I won t get into, but that all was just icing on the cake. It s disappointing paying this much for a resort that does not feel the need to take care of the people here trying to support it. The grounds are clearly well taken care of and it s truly a beautiful resort, but there is not much else to offer the people staying. Overall I m very disappointed with my experience.
