Chicory is a restaurant where you have to go at night ... when everything is closed. However to avoid or at least to hesitate during the day when everything is open! . The food and service are overwhelmed. Count almost 3/4 of an hour to be served or even more when the weather is good ... The quality of the dishes is also affected by this "overbooking" (mediocre welsh, rather fatty dishes). No bread, no carafe of water, or you have to insist, ask for more, not to say begging (especially when you end up being hungry by dint of waiting!). If you are not too picky, the bill is correct and the terrace is nice. But still, a certain disappointment for what was described as a Lille institution.
