My daughter will graduate from Hendrix College in a few weeks. I must say it has been an amazing 4 years for our family. If you don't insist on visiting Hendrix before you choose a college, you may never know what a great college experience can be! We visited 6 small, private, liberal arts colleges within 600 miles of Austin, Texas (our home), and Hendrix was the obvious choice to each of us. We've never regretted it for a moment.
The campus is so beautiful and comfortable, Conway is a very nice little town, but it's the people that make Hendrix truly special. Experience Hendrix first, and then you'll see how ordinary the other colleges feel.
