I usually go to one of several local shops when I need service (RIDE being one of them) but today RIDE won 100% of my future business with their service department.

My Sram Red front shifter had stopped working and another lbs said it needed replacing. I brought to RIDE for a second opinion. They took their time looking at it and asking questions even asking about my non OEM hood covers. In the end they came to the same conclusion as the first shop. Satisfied that the shifter did indeed need to be replaced I agreed to the $360+ repair and left my bike at the shop.

They called back 15 minutes later and said they were thinking more about it and discovered my hoods were the cause of the problem. Their honesty and knowledge saved me hundreds of dollars.
