Most amazing Dukes of Hazard SO I have ever dealt with... Talked about 30 seconds with a Sgt. Turner regarding a Mental hold on a subject threatening suicide and harm to animals and an her elderly mother. I was told he did not want to talk to me, even though I had pertinent information regarding the situation. The deputies had arrived at the call with their guns drawn legitimately.. I have 20 years experience as a Deputy Sheriff and as soon as he heard that, he was not interested in talking to me further. The resolution was to take an intoxicated, possible homicidal, suicidal subject to a friends house. In all my years as a deputy, I have never seen such buffoonery at it's highest level. Seems after several similar complaints by the elderly mother who is being held hostage because she is too scared to leave due to threats by the daughter, something would be done. Sgt. Turner is the most arrogant, egotistical individual I have ever dealt with. Which was even further evidenced on Youtube by individuals exercising their constitutional rights. Although I don't agree with the individuals on the Youtube videos, you can't arrest someone for asking for a public records request from a public entity...
