In the time I've had Molina, I've had them unceremoniously cease coverage to providers and pharmacies from my network with little or no warning or reason given. The most accessible pharmacy to me is Walgreens, and with less than a month's notice they dropped them from their covered pharmacies. I had to scramble to figure out how to fill my meds.

Just recently, they dropped my entire provider network- DaVita Medical- without even informing me. I got no letter, no notification, nothing. I showed up for an appointment only to be told by my doctor that I no longer could see him. It has taken me months to get a new patient appointment elsewhere, setting back treatment and recovery for a number of fairly significant health issues. In that time I've had to withdraw from school and cut my work hours because of my lack of medical coverage and inability to get a timely appointment.

I don't know what the deal is here- did Molina drop Walgreens and DaVita (which has Walgreens pharmacies in their clinics) due to their affiliation with CVS? Or was it some other reason? Regardless, I find their ethics and practices as a company really questionable and I'm switching to BCBS starting in April. I'm done being jerked around.
