This place is really special. We went on the Summer event weekend so there was a bit more going on but I can imagine even without, this place would still be special. There are the various points of interest but the grounds alone, they are just spectacular.
There were moments I actually felt like I was in a different era and it was great! I had a wonderful chat with an older gentleman at the water wheel and I could see how passionate he was about the place and it's story.
Imy hudband and I soent about 4 hours here so it's a good day out. I suspect we will be back!!
Some constructive feedback - it would be great to maybe hand out a pamphlet at the start with information on the history over time and the owner Hamilton.
