The staff at Mountain Sun are incredibly welcoming and familial. On a very busy night, I waited for a seat while sipping on dozens of local brews for about 30 minutes at the walkup bar. Every bar tender knew their beers inside and out and were able to locate the origins of the nuances in each sip.
After finishing a pint of my favorite pour, I was tired from travel and chose to order to go, and when I went to pay my bill I was treated with both my beer and burger on the house for waiting for some time.
I must add that the First Date Burger with goat cheese and date glaze cooked medium rare was by far the best burger I have ever had, bar none.
