I worked for Team MJV for a year and a half after ...

I worked for Team MJV for a year and a half after they took over the account at Buchanan Community Schools in Southwest MI. I was with the the previous company. I love my job up until this school year started. I was the assistant site coach even though I don't what that titles means. I was never given detail on what I was supoose to do and 99% of the time I was covering more than one route a night due to lack of hiring. I feel like I was set up to fail. I was blindsided when they told me they did away with my position company wide. But they wanted me to play a bigger roll with school events. So they made up a position for me. I feel was so I would show the new site coach the ins and outs of the High school. As soon as she caught on, I was moved to a different school and my hours were cut to part time. As a single mother of 3, I couldn't afford that. Not only were mine cut but almost every one else too. People who had been at Buchanan Schools for years. Those who were there before MJV including myself, have built relationships with all the staff at Buchanan and with each other. It saddens me to leave Buchanan Schools. I was born and raised in Buchanan. I walked those very halls as a student. As did my mother, grandparents and many, many in my family. My grandpa has ran the chains at almost every home varsity football game for 30+ years. Working at Buchanan Schools wasn't just a job for me. It was so much more than that. Thank you Buchanan Community Schools for making me and the custodial staff feel appreciated and a part of something. I will miss you all. Team MJV, not so much
