UPMC Hamot has a banner on the front of the building stating it's excellence for stroke recovery patients. We however, found some of the doctor's bedside manners to be lacking empathy in the MICU North side. One needs to research reviews very carefully, before placing complete trust in UPMC's treatment practices. Parking to this particular hospital is also very inconvenient and expensive on a daily basis. Parking ramps lack enough handicap spaces, and regular spaces in the garage are extremely tight. Expect door dings in your vehicle when using the parking garage.
