A few notable facts about Doomie's Home Cookin'.
1. Hands down the most inventive menu in LA. There's a completely vegan Big Mac that just kills.*
2. I can't think of a single item on the menu I wouldn't recommend.
3. The service sucks! You just have to deal with it.
4. The staff doesn't really seem to care, or know much about the menu.
5. Bonus, there's a parking lot out front.
6. The food is spectacular, and makes the crappy service a non-issue.
7. Their mac and cheese can cure almost any bad day!
* The menu can be confusing because of references to bacon and other meat items. You just have to keep reminding yourself it's vegan.
