Our visit here is an experience I will never forget. It was informative and truly inspiring. Our visit literally brought my 12 year old daughter to tears. She said that for the first time she truly got a feeling for the horrors our ancestors endured. I too was brought to tears but not as visibly as my daughter. She walked down an isle that shared the encounters of Dr. King's life and other civil rights activists. By the time she was at the end of the timeline her devastation was palpably noticeable. She said she learned more in that one day than she ever did in class.
