Brinley Hall Review of Generator Hostels Hamburg GmbH

We entered the room and were greeted with two single beds (good start).
The plug sockets were conveniently placed at the opposite ends of the room, so that you couldn't charge your phone and use it as an alarm.
Upon entering the en suite bathroom-ette, we were greeted by the mustiest of smells. Opening the toilet lid, an un-flushed treat presented itself, and to complete the holy trinity of bodily fluids there was somehow some blood in the shower?
The sheets were clean and the beds comfortable enough, but this was unfortunately pointless, as the music from the built in nightclub downstairs was enough to keep you awake.
When the music eventually gently subsided at around 3am, a symphony of dripping pipes and floorboards creaking (presumably under the weight of the broken dreams which lay heavy upon them) took over.
The curtains (a design masterpiece) weren't quite big enough to cover the whole window, which aided an early rise. As with all budget hotels, the towels smell like mild curry super noodles.
In summary this is my least favourite place to be on earth.
I guess it's pretty cheap though!
