Review of Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa

Hotel is located directly opposite from the Museum & a 5 minute walk from Dubai Creek where you catch the boats to Gold & Spice Souks. There are textile shops located here too if you want Pashminas etc. Also many gold shops in the vicinity. The hotel staff are very friendly, the room was large, clean & well equipped. Excellent shower. Decor is a bit dated but it added to the charm. The lifts function well. There is a gym & pool including several restaurants. Had a great Arabic meal in Pharoahs Restaurant where you can include alcohol which can t be consumed outside at local restaurants as it s a heritage area. The buffet breakfast excellent. It was busy & I was seated in a small room off to the left of the main dining area which was probably a previous smoking room so try & avoid if possible. Also easy to catch taxi to Dubai Mall. Overall would stay here again. Felt safe walking around as a solo female traveller.
