Best museum I have been in my life, and I visited 20+ countries throughout the world (grew up in France).

I have been at the Air Force Museum 5+ times, spending a full day each time, and sometimes coming back the very next day.
Obviously all the aircrafts are amazing, but the exhibits beside them are what really makes the whole experience awesome. Tons and tons of history, engineering, military, relics are exposed and shown, which really helps understand the particular struggles and victories of each era.

The volunteer staff are mostly retired air force guys, they do know a LOT about everything displayed and not displayed, and can sometimes give you your own tour if you look interested. There is a tour of each section every few hours otherwise.

The food sold at the cafeteria isn't the greatest of all, but that's not really why I go there.

If there was only one museum I could visit ever, that would be the Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio. Well worth the travel.
