I've been using Carmel since 2013. They're usually pretty good and reliable. The drivers are polite and the cars are clean.

However, I had a terrible experience last time I used them. I had to catch an international flight and I had a lot of baggage. I indicated in their website when I reserved how much baggage I had. The lady who picked me up complained about how heavy they were even though they weren't that bad. They were all below the airline limit. She also said they wouldn't fit but they did!

I was about 10 minutes late and she said "You pay fee." I pointed out that she came early and she kept calling me even though I told her she was early. I really didn't have a problem with the fee but I had an issue with her attitude.

I was really stressed out when I got in the car because my driver was annoying, I hate long flights/airports, and the traffic was terrible. My driver made things worse by telling me I wouldn't catch my flight due to traffic.

I gave her the wrong terminal number and I immediately realized it was wrong. I seriously considered getting down and taking a taxi to the correct terminal, but I didn't want to waste more time. I told her as nicely as possible that it was wrong. She complained of course, and she muttered incoherently under her breath. When I got to the terminal, I over tipped her even though she didn't deserve it. I don't know why I did. I regret it. Fortunately I made my flight, but I don't think I'll be using this car service again.

I'm giving them 3 stars because they're usually very good. I just had one bad experience that ruined for me.
