I highly recommend David Schloss, my attorney with the law firm Koonz, McKenney, Johnson, DePaolis & Lightfoot. In short, he did an amazing job pursuing restitution for many people impacted by the Washington Navy Yard shooting. It was a difficult case. Many lives were lost, many injured, by a gunman. All needed help to recover from this horrible tragedy. David never flagged in his quest. It took five years, but he never stopped caring and working on our behalf.

David did an excellent job keeping me informed throughout the process always kind, respectful, and clear. He always valued my time and perspective. He never tired of explaining procedures and legal nuances in a way I could understand. He was always discrete, honest, and squarely on my side. He always had my best interests at heart.
