"Mailed my my final invoice" which I never got, so...

"Mailed my my final invoice" which I never got, so 2 months after move out, I was completely unaware that I owed them $500 for whatever reasons. I knew 6 days prior to the final notice because they emailed me randomly and gave me a heart attack. Why not email me way before? Why only give me 6 days when you clearly have my email and could have notified me before then? Can't make the excuse of "oh we mailed it to you though" because there is no proof that you did. Stick to emails to notify people of important things, for starters.

Honestly was probably a means of exploiting people and catching them for "late fees/interest" and getting even more money in their stingy/greedy pockets. Terrible company. Terrible management. Never answered my voice mails. Student housing is always trash, but Preiss is the worst.
