Very very intriguing and moving one of the best museum in DC. They give you a book of someone from holocaust to go through the museum with and know their personal story. You can get the timed tickets right in front of the building and yes their free however you only need them May to Aug 31st their busiest season. The engraving if you want to see how money is printed is right behind the Holocaust ticket booth and can pick your times for a tour. I recommend during summer months get there before or right when their opening up. The easiest parking we found which is very limited is Regan building close to the white house and is reasonable
