Sears has become a monolithic debacle..
I called the customer assistance number on an owners manual of a slow cooker I bought, to ask about the materials used in the construction of the product.
I was connected to a Chinese woman who could barely speak or understand English...and the phone line was so poor, I could barely make out what she was saying.
She gave me a number for the consumer relations department, supposedly in the U.S.
but when I dialed that number, I reached another off shore division...again barely speaking or understanding English.
Then I went online to find the Corporate Office number and located a Sears Holdings number in the U.S.....
I called that number and reached some idiot who sounded like a drill sargent in the army, who transferred me to another foreign division...with a terrible phone line barely speaking English...
Don't waste your money or time with buying anything from Sears unless you absolutly have to...
No wonder they are falling apart...
