Farm fresh foods are the best!
Heyser has a small stand at their farm just off New Hampshire avenue. It is an open air stand and at the time of this writing they had watermelon corn blackberries blueberries and tomatoes and more. I especially enjoy their fresh eggs.
Be aware that this is not a discount operation, and you may think their prices are high compared to a supermarket - but their produce is exceptional and fresh.
There's plenty of parking adjacent to the farm stand, and you may want to bring a box or bag with you if you get watermelons or a lot of produce. Please wear a mask and respect the distance of everybody else that's shopping there.
I found the staff especially helpful and even were assisting some of the elderly people who are shopping for fresh foods.
