The sessions that I had with Dr. Shannahoff were the best doctor's visit experience that I had ever had. I had two herniated discs in my lower back, lumbar disc, one was 11 mm and the other was 4 mm. I had severe lower back and leg pain. I was not able to move much, and lost the ability to do normal daily actives. I could not even walk without suffering from severe pain in my back and leg. After visiting three MDs, I finally got an MRI, and the MD told me to have a surgery, steroid injection or some physical therapies. I was devastated knowing that I might need to have a surgery and never be able to go back to normal life ( I did some research online, surgery on spine can really have negative lifelong affect to quality of life). Then I found two chiropractors, but the experience was not good and I did not see any improvement. Finally I gave Dr. Shannahoff a call, surprisingly he answered my phone call during lunch time and give me an appointment the same day. He put me on the DRX9000 decompression machine, after the first two weeks I already saw improvement, and he gave me three month sections every day from Mandy to Thursday. He was always there to treat my back till 7pm even though his office closes at 6pm. Dr. Shannahoff was always there for his patients, and he's always available to listen to his patients. He even gave free back adjustments to my wife. Now I m back to normal, I m able to go outside, go hiking and go back to the activities that I enjoyed doing.
