We were told by the ticketing staff that it wouldn't be that scary, but my wife and I couldn't make it ten minutes in and had to ask an actor to help us leave early as we "had a train to catch." We would have enjoyed just the history aspect, but let's be honest, that probably wouldn't attract a lot of tourists on its own. As such, half of the experience is walking through dark corridors, getting scared by loud noises and flashing lights. On the plus side, though, the actors and staff were really nice, helpful, and understanding.
