Review of AZ Airtime

If you are thinking of dropping your teenager off ...

If you are thinking of dropping your teenager off here for Teen night (Friday or Saturday 8-11p) - just don't.

Aggressive adults, fist fights in the parking lot, serious injuries - that's what you can look forward to with AZ Air Time near Costco.

I have dropped my son off here at least three dozen times over the past year or so thinking it was a safe, controlled space and he's gone with friends another few dozen times. In that time period, I've taken him to urgent care not once - but twice - for fractures on his feet (one in each). It's clearly dangerous and injury is inevitable. The Northwest Urgent Care staff remarked that they get a lot of business due to AZ Air Time.

Another problem is that Teen night isn't really Teen night at all. They allow and are inundated with a group of aggressive, immature adults (20's and 30's). The staff here do not have any control over what is happening whatsoever, they do nothing to de-escalate conflicts nor do they actually ref the games insofar as making people follow basic rules like 'no head targetting'. My son was pummeled in the head multiple times by a group of adults while they cussed him out - and the ref just stood there and watched!

I have finally had enough.

Do not let your kids play here on weekend evenings, especially if they are a very young teen (12-14).
