Usually De Dee s is a 5/5. Its prices appear high for ice cream, but this is reflected in the size of the ice creams (a small at Dee Dee s is closer to a large at most other places). I ve been here many times but last night my family s ice creams were far smaller than what they usually are. We got baby, small, and medium soft serves and they were almost exactly the same size (they were all the size of the usual baby cones). I got a small cone with hard ice cream. Usually this has two oversized scoops of ice cream but mine only had one small scoop. So overall a pretty disappointing visit compared to my normal experience here.

I don t know if they have changed their sizes or if the girl who helped us just wasn t trained properly, or maybe she charged us for what we ordered but forgot the sizes and gave us all baby cones. I should have said something when I got the cone but didn t realize how obvious it was that I had the wrong size until I talked with my sister after leaving the shop. It s disappointing to get half of what we paid for, but in the grand scheme of things the total was I believe around $16. Definitely not worth the price but I m not going to lose sleep over it.
