The staff was very professional and pleasant. The lobby was beautiful, beautiful courtyard. Cosy, comfortable restaurant. My room however could have been better.
It wasn't bad by any stretch, it was clean and comfortably appointed but very dated. It was smaller than the average room I've stayed in with very high ceilings to make it feel less cramped. The walls were bare so it also made it feel very stark.
I understand that as a technician, I'm above average in device and electronics usage, even on personal trips. However, I think that the numbers of device heavy individuals is growing and they have made a very weak attempt to keep up with power demands of their potential guests. The one outlet by the desk had been updated to the type with 2 USB ports but it was an old one with only 1.3A ports. I bring my own power strip and USB charging hub with me on all trips but it's nice when I don't need it.
The restaurant as I mentioned earlier is cozy and comfortable as well as having a very friendly and attentive wait staff. Everything I had there was outstanding, I recommend the Pot Roast as my personal favorite. Their breakfast buffet was amazing. For a relatively small space to work with they had a great selection of fresh and tasty food items.
Over all I recommend staying here but I would love to see them put some of the effort they put into their command areas into their rooms.
