Left the care company 4 or so years ago now, so keep in mind they may have changed practices significantly for the better, i can only give my experience from the time. One support worker left my some of my medication in a cafe, understandable mistake to make, but obviously i reported it as an issue as someone could've taken it that wasn't me. The lady in management i spoke to about it at the time said because i have memory issues she didn't think i was reliable. I do have memory issues but I'm not a liar. And surely that's more of a reason to safeguard me, lol. Lots of other issues i had, many of the support staff were very kind, some weren't but that's only normal in care sadly. Some of the support workers are angels, but the management were not proactive at dealing with issues, even serious ones.
