The best I can say is overall decent, but I do not recommend. A family member was there short-term and received the most basic rehab, so I can't speak to longer stays or more intense care. She was alarmed and hurt that staff would not answer for hours (if at all) when she rang the call button. This happened multiple times. I don't need to mention the 'what ifs,' but I too was hurt and alarmed.

That issue was consistent with how difficult it was for me to get med staff and social workers on the phone for updates and questions. They seemed comfortable with ignoring me. Only when we escalated the communication issues did they respond to us the way I feel they should have from the beginning. And I had the distinct impression they were making up a plan for her as they went along, so it ended up just being a place for her to rest and gather strength for a week or so. All while having to advocate for herself a lot to get basic things and basic info.

There were some bright spots (staff members who were friendly and professional, esp physical therapy staff and one particular nurse), but not enough to blunt my concerns. I was overcome with relief when she was fine to go home.
