In a shuffle (and not paying a co-pay), I missed my notices and my balance was forwarded to First Financial Resources. I paid it immediately, but have had a derogatory remark on my credit score ever since. I called their office and requested it be removed (it has been 5+ years) and it was an easy request/call. I was told it would take about 30 days, but better than another 3-4 years of remaining on my history.
