Vera house promises to help those in need of help from domestic violence when in reality all they do is make you feel you like your worth nothing to them, like it s a regular thing they hear or see so your just like other victims. They judge you by what they read on your application for help. Being respectful and patient gets you no where. I have called 4 times got assigned an advocate that does NOT advocate for me at all. I can t even get a phone call, text or email from him. Iam still struggling everyday to keep me and my child safe and all they can say is well you have to wait for your advocate to call. I wish there was another place or program i can call for real help.. My situation happened on Mother s Day 2021 & here we are in july and iam still begging for help from them..
