Oneota Co-op is the local health food store in Decorah, IA. They offer bulk dry goods; healthy, local, organic options; and vegan foods that cannot be found anywhere else in the area. In a part of the state that borderlines on being a food desert, it is a vital part of the community.The next closest similar stores are 1 1/2 to 2 hours away in any direction. They also have a seating area and hot food bar that always include some tasty vegan options.The co-op is open to the general public, although if you live in or regularly visit the area, it is worth considering a membership.
