Before I get into my experiences with MSC, I want ...

Before I get into my experiences with MSC, I want to first respond to a one star reviewer that said she felt sad that there was no sense of real longing for God. 1) I completely respect your right to review my church in that way, I wish you would ve stayed but I understand why you didn t, 2) Not every church environment is for everyone. I lived in the south for 12 years, I don t care for organ music. It doesn t mean that those churches lacked the presence or longing for God. Saying a church isn t for you due to worship styles or preaching styles, I totally understand. But one thing you can t accuse MSC of, is not longing for God. I have been coming to MSC for just over a year and in that time I have found my place with the Lord, I was baptized on Easter last year. I have felt closer to God than I have ever felt. Mountain Springs has amazing worship. We rock out with drums, guitars, piano and amazing singers. People raise their hands, clap, whistle and can worship in their comfort zone. I tell my family all the time, when we get to Heaven, I hope Bobby leads worship forever. Our Pastor teaches biblically, truthfully and passionately. Our music may not be for you. Our teachings may not be for you. But don t feel sorry for the people at MSC. God fills our building every time we make a joyful noise. God oversees our actions as we work with our community and our global missions. God rejoices when our children s ministry learns more and more about him. And I know God smiles when Evan is on stage, the youth of our church are so, so fortunate to have him. MSC is amazingly welcoming. I m biased. Come see for yourself.
