Review of VALLEY PLAZA RESORT

It was a rather lack luster hotel. And here is why...

It was a rather lack luster hotel. And here is why: when we first arrived to the hotel and stepped out of the car, there was a random sock on the ground plus some other trash around on the parking lot (we stayed there for 2 nights, and when we left the trash and sock were still in the same place after 2 days...poor maintenance of the building); the sign on the building specifically said that 'This is a no-smoking establishment, no smoking within 25ft of building.' yet employees were taking their smoke break in front of the building in the doorway.... And they allowed other guests to smoke on the stairway leading up to the closest entrance to our room, which was highly inconveniencing since we had to go on the other side of the building to get in just to avoid the smoke; and there was a couple of bugs that I found in the bathroom. I know it sounds like I'm making all of this up, but I promise you I am not. I just want to inform other people so that they can make well-informed decisions as to whether or not they will stay at this hotel or not. Just my two-cents.
