We were misinformed by Christina at wound care that doctor Presser was in network with our BCBS insurance and later on found that the claim was filed as the doctor being out of network. I have gone through so many calls and reaching out to get a mistake rectified that they caused misinforming us and no one who I ve contacted, such as Lisa who is the director of wound care or Pressers biller Jennifer, hasn t done anything to fix this mistake and come with a resolution other than threats of bill collections. The mistake was caused by the wound care which Lisa doesn t want to take accountability for, instead she hands the problem to Jennifer who could care even less other than collecting payment. Why should the patient, who were misinformed, be the one to suffer through this??! They told us our insurance was in network and that should be how our claim should have been filed and since they misinformed us they should hold accountability and fix the problem not us!
I hope this warns people who are thinking of going to this hospital that this hospital cannot be trusted nor can you count on them to fix their mistake!
