I called the company about my options for paying a large dental bill. I am getting a root canal and dental crown done, but the cost is more than I am allotted in a single year by the insurance company. When I asked about my options the person on the phone only suggested that I get a credit card to help pay for the costs or to wait a year until my insurance allotment resets (not an option considering my health is important and I can t forgo needed care). Absolutely pathetic - what s the point of having insurance if it doesn t even cover the costs when you need it to? Now I am stuck paying a bill that is over $1000 for a procedure that is generally pretty routine.
