The Bavarian Inn Lodge is located in Frankenmuth, MI, which is often referred to as "Little Bavaria." Having grown up in Germany, it's not quite the same, but it's the next best thing within a reasonable travel distance.

The Lodge itself is easy to recommend. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, but that's just the beginning. The Lodge contains two restaurants (Oma's and the Ratskeller), and a lounge that features live entertainment each night.

If you're looking for something other than dining, the Lodge also houses three pools (two connected to its "Family Fun Center," intended for use by families with children, and a 21+ pool for those who'd like to swim without kids around; each pool also has a connected hot tub). Additionally, there are two water slides attached to the Fun Center for use by all ages (but obviously very popular with the kids).

Beyond that, the Fun Center (located on the lowest level of the Lodge, which keeps the noise from filtering in to guest rooms above) features an arcade, and a full miniature golf course.

Aside from all of that, pretty much everything Frankenmuth has to offer is within easy walking distance of the Lodge, apart from Bronner's Christmas Wonderland, which is about two miles down the road.

Whether you're travelling with the whole family, your better half, or flying solo, the Bavarian Inn Lodge is definitely worth checking out.
