FIVE STAR CARE AND EMPLOYEES!!! Wow. This hospital is the best hospital I ve ever been to. I am from Staten Island and travel 30 minutes just to get there! I am a bariatric patient here. I don t know who to compliment first! The emergency room staff worked super quick and fast with me to make sure I got what I needed! They got me a room the fastest they were able to. The patient advocate down there was the sweetest old lady! When I was up at my room all the staff welcome me and they just know how to keep your spirits up and only allow positivity around you. You can tell the staff is a real family. Once they see your face once they are really well with remembering you. I was on the second floor and I just want to have all the staff who work on that floor get recognized! They are all just amazing souls! Even down to the man Ryan who walked in to clean my floors! When I was being transported after having an x ray back to my room, my transporter asked me if I met the guy in the suit with the crazy ties and I was so confused and said no. She informed me I will soon and that he just makes everyone happy. Wow. This man Mark!!!! He will stay with me forever because of how amazing and open he is!!! You can tell he is in the right field and doesn t wake up everyday and sees it as a job but a passion to see others happy!! He literally offered to do anything he could for me! Of course being a bariatric patient I connected with him on a different level and I believe those journals he gives out should be always done!!! I couldn t come up with one complaint about anyone I ve encountered during my stay!!! The staff is just one big family and I admire how they keep you apart of it! They really bring life and happiness to you while you may feel like you re at your lowest! 5 star place!!!!
