Terrible experience with the service department. Had a rock take out both our windshield and moon roof while on vacation here in Seattle. Got a estimate over the phone for a ridiculous $6500 to replace. Brought it in first thing in the morning to take a quick visual look to see if that estimate could be reduced. We were told the inspection fee would be waved and we would hear back later that day. Didn t hear back until the next day and the estimate was only reduced to $4500. Decided to take the car elsewhere as the estimate was still double over what we were hearing from other over the phone quotes. As we were out the door they reduced the price to $2700. At that point it was too late as we had completely lost trust so we were gone. To add insult to injury, the inspection fee was not waved and we were out over $200. Once we took it to an independent shop we received prompt and free inspection in a matter of minutes and got the work scheduled at rates our insurance would cover. BMW of Seattle should take a lesson on how to take care of customers.
