If I could rate this bank a -10 I would. I have been saving up for a house and decided to open up an account with nefcu 3 weeks earlier, because I have heard they offer good rates. What they lack, is customer service. Other than the front desk I left completely embarrassed. I went in early before work to deposit 2 checks into my savings account. When I got to the front of the line (5-10min) I was blatantly told by Kayleigh that she wouldn't help me. She then reached out to the person behind me and told them she would help THEM. I asked "you cant help me?" for which she replied, "no, I wont". This is the second time she has done this, last time putting up a "this lane closed" sign. Annoyed, embarrassed and frustrated, I couldn't wait any longer and left. Clearly other people have had problems with this in the past. I would bank where you get appreciated.
